Android: Google has quietly updated its Google Play service and automatically installed a new app for all of us Android users. It's called Google Settings, and all the app does is give you shortcuts to the settings for Google+, Maps, and Search, as well as your location and ad preferences.
Google actually started rolling this out yesterday, along with the new Google+ sign-in feature for third-party apps. In addition to the settings shortcuts mentioned above, Google Settings also can show you which apps you've signed into with Google+.
You'll find the green Google Settings app icon in your app drawer. If not, you can clear the Google Play services data (under Settings > Apps > All) and restart your device to force the update.
